Take care of yourself, don't make me come spank you. *sends neosporin* posted by: thoolou (reply) post date: 02.07.06 (6:43 am) Well, since you are active duty, (and thank you for your service, BTW) I would assume (I know, I know...) that you recieved a Tetanus shot in the recent past. They're generally good for 10 years. If you're not sure if ya got one, go see the Docs. They should have a record of your innoculations. To quote eMedicine: "The spores are in soil, dust, and animal waste and can survive there for many years. These spores are resistant to extremes of temperature." You have enough things to worry about Bro, don't let a damn bug get ya. :) posted by: redhead (reply) post date: 02.07.06 (7:12 am) You should have got all of your shot such as tetanus before you left to go over there. Take care of yourself and what is alittle blood. posted by: rcurry (reply) post date: 02.07.06 (8:05 am) yes, I received my vaccinations.. including my 7th dose of anthrax. That tetanus stuff is just me being a hypochondriac! posted by: redhead (reply) post date: 02.07.06 (8:28 am) If you are worried on getting a shot take someone to hold your hand.hahaha. posted by: rcurry (reply) post date: 02.07.06 (8:47 am) no, I can get shots all day long. I like watching the needle too. I also like sticking people with I.V.'s That's too much fun. Remember to push down hard on the vein when you pull the needle out of the catheder, otherwise you'll get that good arterial spurting before you hook up the line! |
